Sonia was amazing! She made the whole process incredibly easy for us. Even with last minute changes due to Covid-19, and we had to significantly change our wedding day to minimize guests to close family only she still officiated our ceremony and made it very special! We would absolutely recommend her!
The ceremony was my favorite part of my wedding day!
I cannot recommend Dearly Beloved Wedding Services enough! From the get go, Sonia was extremely responsive and open to getting to know us via FaceTime since we were not in the same town! I was a little skeptical about letting a stranger conduct our ceremony, but she wrote an amazing service tailored to our specifications and made it seem like she’s known us for years! Sonia traveled to Des Moines the day before my wedding in order to make it to the rehearsal dinner and officially met us in person. She is so personable and fit in so well with my friends and family – she even sat next to my parents at the reception! We received so many compliments on our ceremony and we owe it all to Sonia! Thanks for everything!!
Sonia–Reliable and Easy to Work With!
Sonia was great to work with. She was flexible, easy to work with, listened to what we wanted in a ceremony, and made it easy for us to choose what we wanted in our ceremony. She can even tell you how long the ceremony will take based on the number of pages in her binder!
“Sonia at Dearly Beloved took such great care of us! She guided us when we needed help and also allowed us the flexibility we needed. She offered a service that blended the right balance of time-honored traditions and chances for us to express our individual ideas.
Sonia talked with the both of us (via FaceTime) about what we wanted out of our wedding service. Sonia gently and with immense good humor walked us through specific questions to get to know us and what our relationship was about.
She helped us research both religious and secular readings for the service that captured what we wanted to express to our friends and loved ones.
She checked up with us in the weeks prior to the wedding to see if we needed help with our vows or with anything else related to the wedding day.
The ceremony she created for us was heartfelt, charming and sweet. Sonia’s execution of the ceremony was reverent while remaining relaxed. She even remained unflappable when we, “called an audible” and changed the order that our vows were to go right smack dab in the middle of the service. We had forgotten to tell her about the change, but without batting an eye, Sonia made it about what we needed at that moment.
Dearly Beloved was a major part of what turned out to be as close to a perfect day as you can get.”
“Sonia married David and I on April 29th. The ceremony was custom to what we wanted, she was extremely professional, and even took time out of her busy day to meet us at the courthouse to iron out the marriage license details (that she also reminded us about several dozen times)! I love that our ceremony was unique and she surprised us with fun bits about ourselves, which also made it wonderful. Thank you for everything Sonia!”
“Dearly Beloved gave us just what we were looking for in a wedding service. He was not religious at all and I wanted it to be spiritual but rooted in my traditions. Not only did they work with us up to the last minute, our service felt heartfelt and not overly corny. We got so many compliments from guests afterwards about our vows making them cry and feel united with the two of us on that day. Call on Dearly Beloved to make the most of your heart on the big day.”

“I can not say enough good things about Sonia. She made our service unique and specific to us. There wasn’t one dry eye there. She had great ideas, great wording, she kept it simple and it was absolutely perfect!”
